Think about the power that we have with the words that come out of our mouths. Most of us don't think about them until it's too late! I tend to be impulsive with my words and then regret!!!
The Bible says, "But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men who have been made in the similitude of God." (James 3:8,9 NKJV)
We have such a responsibility when it comes to our words. With our words, we can either discourage or encourage; compliment or insult; soothe or anger; show mercy or be callous; praise or criticize; worship or dishonor. Simply . . . it's our choice.
WORD OF THE MONTH . . . so what is "word of month?" Well, I love words that are unusual, quirky or evokes special memories. I usually write them down in my journal along with their meanings, why I like the word, what it means to me and images it brings to my mind. I thought it would be fun to choose a word for each month and together we can discover the different facets of the word. I promise this will not be lab0r-intensive but hopefully fun and inspiring.
